Exercise your independent ceramic creativity and continue honing your clay skills with open studio time. Punch card style STUDIO PASS enables members to come when it suits them, during studio open hours Mon - Fri 9am-5pm and work at their own pace.

  • 10-DAY STUDIO PASS: Rp1.600.000

  • 5-DAY STUDIO PASS: Rp1.000.000

  • 1-DAY DROP-IN PASS: Rp300.000

ONE DAY = 1-8 hours of studio usage (spend 1 hour in the studio or 8 hours, it will be considered as one day)

ACCESS: Members can use the studio Monday - Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays by appointment only. (NOTE: The Studio is closed to general public and members during one and two-week scheduled workshops, please CHECK OUR STUDIO CALENDAR)

GCAC PROVIDES: clay (stoneware house blend), glazes, equipment, support (but no instruction).

FIRING FEES: will be separately calculated according to weight of pieces (BISQUE: 60 Rp/gram and BISQUE + GLAZE (CAC finishes pieces): 120 Rp/gram)

NOTE: Please allow a minimum of two weeks for the firing of your works. We only fire the kiln when we have enough works to fill the entire kiln. This largely depends on who is in the studio at the time and how much work has been produced from the collective studio members. 

**It is essential to email prior to coming in and purchasing a open studio pass.


Enjoy the camaraderie and inspiration of the entire studio community, while maintaining the focus of your own space within which to create and the liberty of coming and going on your own schedule.

STUDIO: 4m x 4m open-air studio with shelving, work table and pottery wheel

EQUIPMENT: studio tools, extruder, slab-roller, spray booth, dremel tool, belt sander

CLAY BODIES: priced by body (can be order by weight)

Select whichever type of clay suits you most and your required quantity (stoneware, stoneware with grog, stoneware with sand, “anagama” stoneware blend, “anagama” sculpture blend, porcelain, porcelain with sand, raku, half-and-half (porcelain-and-Raku).

ACCESS: 7 days/week, 24 hour (although we do recommend a before midnight departure); renters are provided with a key; access includes when workshops are running

KILNS: Gas oxidation, Gas reduction, Raku “top-hat”, Anagama, Bottle (wood-fired), Gas-fired Soda  (*renting artist must be capable of running their own firing from start to finish, not relying on the studio to fire their works for them).


  • 2-week rental: IDR 3.200.000

  • 1-month rental: IDR 5.300.000
