By shopping with Gaya Ceramic, you are agreeing to accept the following conditions, under which we provide all our content and services. Please take a moment to read and understand them before you use our e-shop.
General Information And Care
All our ceramics are hand-made with love in our studio in Bali, Indonesia.
Ceramic’s irregularities and/or variances in size, glaze or texture, reflect the many human touches received during the making process. The above is the additional value of any handmade process and must be embraced as an intrinsic characteristic of our ceramics.
All our tableware is food-safe (click here for test report) and can be safely used in microwave and dishwashers.
Sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven) is likely to cause thermal shock, which may create fissures in the glaze or clay body. Dishwasher may accelerate the fading of a luster glaze, hand washing is recommended for these type of ceramic surfaces.
Raku-ware needs special care. Please refer to this specific sheet for maintenance and precautions.
Prices And Payments
All prices are quoted in American Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice.
At the moment we can accept only secure payment via Paypal.
PayPal helps protect your credit card information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems.
Please refer to PayPal for their terms and conditions.
If, by mistake, an item is listed at incorrect price, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order placed at the incorrect price.
Shipping cost (door to door) is calculated at the check out but you are responsible for any customs obligations and/or import taxes that may apply.
Please contact your local custom in advance to avoid unpleasant and unexpected duties.
We are not responsible for delays or extra-charges due to customs clearance or other custom related issues.
Orders are shipped just after your payment is cleared.
We tried to keep the shipping cost as low as possible, but international airfreigt, unfortunately, isnt cheap. We simply charge you what the forwarder charges us. If you can get a better quote or you have an appointed agent, please feel free to contact us and we will manage your order offline (payment with bank transfer or paypall) following your shipping instruction.
Please note that an order of multiple pieces rdeuce proportionally the single unit's shipping cost.
Our ceramic studio and warehouse are based in Ubud, Bali – Indonesia.
We will pack your ceramic with care and we will make all the efforts to deliver it safely to you.
Once your payment has been received, items will be shipped within two working day (or few days for multiple orders) from its placement.
30kg package is the maximum weight we can manage with this online shop. If you want to ship more than that (or you want to discuss with us a different shipping method), please contact us and we will manage your order offline.
To ensure safe and transparent delivery, you will receive a notification by email with a specific shipment’s tracking number once your order is dispatched.
Delivery time is naturally related to the country of destination.
A national shipment usually takes 4-6 business days but an international shipment it may even takes few weeks to arrive.
Please contact us before your purchase if you want to know in advance your estimated delivery time.
We are not responsible for any delivery delays after the order has left our studio or due to any circumstances beyond our control.
Even it is a very rare case, if the parcel has not arrived within 10 weeks from the shipment date, we will consider the package “lost" and we will send you a replacement or a refund.
Please remember that you are responsible for any customs obligations and/or import taxes that may apply.
Please ensure that the address and contact details entered during checkout are correct.
We cannot be responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided to us by you.
Shipping charges will apply for orders that have to be re-sent due to incorrect details provided to us.
E-shop Imageries And Descriptions
The images of the ceramics in our e-shop gallery are representational only.
All items for sale are described and photographed as accurately as possible, however we cannot guarantee that all product descriptions are current and error free.
Due to the fully handmade glazing and artisanal firing the glaze’s shade you will receive may vary from the one you see in the site pictures
In addition, due to the different monitor settings, the real glaze colour could also be different from what you see on your computer screen.
If you need any further clarification or additional pictures, please contact us before ordering.
Order's Return Or Exchange
It is very important to us that you are happy with the ceramic you purchased.
If you are not satisfied (we are sure you won’t!) with your buying, you can return or exchange the ceramic within 10 days from the parcel’s arrival.
It is your responsibility to pay for the return shipping costs including eventual custom/import duties at our destination.
Items must be shipped back to us unused and in original condition and packaging (or similar quality).
If the ceramic will arrive to us damaged, we will not allow any refund or exchange.
Logically, exchanges are not available for "unique pieces". For such specific and "sole" items just refunds are applicable.
If you are asking for a refund, the shipping cost we bared to ship the item to your door (and/or any other eventual charges) will be deducted from the overall amount to be returned.

As soon your parcel is arrived and the above conditions are cleared, we will normally refund you within 2-3 days using the same payment method that you used to purchase the goods.
While we will try to promptly ship your order within hours from its placement, we can’t accept order’s cancellation.
We take great care in packaging our ceramics as safely as possible.
In the rare and unfortunate event where an item arrives to you damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of the receipt of the goods for an immediate replacement, refund or credit voucher.
Please just send your order number, exact items/quantities and photos of the item(s) damaged.
We DO NOT process claims without photos clearly showing the damage.
Upon your claim being approved, we will ship to you the replacement for the damaged item(s) if the item(s) is in stock/available and if not, a refund will be issued.
Please do not send us back broken items.
